I just posted a quick update on our trip up to Whistler on backcountryskiphotos.com. No ski touring was had, but we did manage to spend a bit of time skate skiing at the new Olympic Park nordic center. And, I was able to capture this one shot before the weather turned, again.

Someone told me
April was supposed to indicate the first days of spring. Maybe south of the
border, but definitely not here in the northwest. Last weekend the mountains got
hit with a huge winter storm, offering up some of the best powder skiing all winter. Of
course, this just means we’ll be able to enjoy a banner season of spring ski
touring.

So although winter is still very present in many parts of the country, I am offering the 12 adventure photographs that appeared my Seattle photography exhibit at a
discount to the masses. If you haven’t seen these images, you can view
the online gallery here – http://mackieimages.com/photography/Globe_Gallery_Photography_Exhibition/index.html. These are
all limited edition prints (signed & numbered), so it’s pretty unlikely
you’ll see these shots elsewhere in these sizes. The prices include a mat, so at
only $150 your gain is my loss. Sizes vary slightly. The photos are roughly 10×19 or
13×19 (print size).

Don’t let winter slip by…or better yet, keep a piece of it
nearby at all times!
