We know it as “The Mountain”. Mountaineers (local and worldwide) see it as the perfect training mountain for bigger adventures (like Everest, Denali, etc.) I’ve skied from the summit of Mt Rainier; I’ve hiked around much of it’s sprawling base. I’ve biked up the winding Alps-like roads that connect various parts of Mount Rainier National Park. I’ve been there when it’s pouring rain, dumping snow, and so crystal clear you can see hundreds of miles in every direction. I never get bored of photographing Mt Rainier.
