Of course, as I’m always looking for a bit of adventure, I thought it would be fun to ride as far into this tropical rain forest as possible. Unfortunately getting close to Wai’ale’ale is challenging, especially from the ground. But with a rental mountain bike at my disposal, a rough topo map of the island, I set off in search of those hidden roads. I found road…and lots of puddles…
