&lt;p&gt;I have found that you can the cartridges back to Epson. This was confimed on the phone by Epson themselves.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Sadly though this is a UK address, so the carbon cost in freighting them across the Atlantic is not going to help you. &lt;/p&gt;

Matt - I also spoke with Epson and I was under the impression they only take back specific ink cartridges and those from the R2400 were NOT included. I hope I&#039;m wrong. &lt;/p&gt;
